I was on another forum looking to get in on a group buy for some LED lights. Missed the deadline but they do have another one coming up later this summer or so the word is. I figured some peeps here might also be interested in starting a group buy for LED's or whatever. The seller advmonster is mentioned in some threads http://www.klrforum.com/showthread.php?t=12064&page=3 for his LED's on KLR forum. Here is a link to A group buy http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/group-buys/219241-group-buy-advmonster-60-series-3600-lumen-led-off-road-lights.html No, I don't own a Toyota, I do have a KLR and GMC truck. Been looking to upgrade my lights. If you read the link the seller offers 20% off. Here is a link to the lights http://stores.intuitwebsites.com/hstrial-QualiRegResou/-strse-41/Model-60-LED-off/Detail.bok youtube should also have some vids on how nice these lights might be. Anyone interested in getting in on a group buy. We can gauge the interest and then send advmonster an email asking about it here. count me down for two. On the other site someone mentions 20 lights to get a group buy happening. So we need another 18 lights to be snapped up. And the ones I am looking at http://stores.intuitwebsites.com/hstrial-QualiRegResou/-strse-41/Model-60-LED-off/Detail.bok Ed

on his web site they are 100 each. Group buy should get that down to 80 each. I sent the seller a link and asked him to chime in. Where did you find 3600 lumens for that price ?

I've found ADVMonster a great seller who stands behind his stuff, and his stuff is BRIGHT!!

I have some of his older stuff on my KLR, with one spot and one flood.. When you turn them on, it's daylight.. Or maybe brighter.. :)

I like Paper's lighting solution left spot/right flood. I'd be willing to try the same, maybe down low fork mounted.

I'd like to get four...maybe three would be enough. I'd like to wire them in high beam and low beam. Possibly with a daytime low beam kill.

Or perhaps I could do like paper, but point the spot down a bit and wire it to run on high and low.

Unfortunately there are higher things on the farkle totem pole. :(

FWIW, ebay has a 5 dollar imitation HID headlight. Cooler color temperature: looks cool, signs/reflectors pop more, possibly slightly brighter (could just be the effect of a colder color temp), I think more visible, and you can see blue through the headlight glass. Worth the upgrade from stock on my gen 1. A year later still kickin'.

Will these fog light things pass an inspection? I can just imagine the call from Carl (my motorcycle inspection guy).
