For what it's worth I'm pushing 60. I was a hardcore mountain biker and I graduated to the motorcycle cuz now I'm old and lazy. I love the fact that so many old farts like me are out there on the bike. So happy for the community that is out there. 👍
Old farts on ADV bikes
Going up to Mammoth Cave Park to ride ranger trails, my son and I stopped at a corner store ("The Corner Store") in the middle of nowhere on Rt 185. Minutes later, four greybeards on Adv bikes, I think 3 KLRs and a BMW, pull into the lot for a pit stop of their own. We did the obligatory look-at-each-other's-ride and I got a good recommendation for a taller windscreen.
I can't be happier to know there are other old guys out for a ride on a beautiful day like today.
