Had a small drip of oil under my bike from the front sprocket area. So in I went...

Once you get the sprocket off (and cleaned up!) here's what you'll see:

There is a metal collar surounding the shaft that pulls out easily. The seal will just pop out with a bit of a pry. There's an o-ring in the groove of the shaft visable behind the splines.

My o-ring was broken. The metal collar was worn but the seal looked OK. I replaced all 3.

Use a bit of oil to coat the parts for assembly. I used a piece of PVC pipe to drive the seal back in (flush with the outside shiny surface), didn't take much force. The metal collar's detents install towards the motor.
