Hi hope someone can help. I've just done up a 1994 klr 250, it's had a complete strip down, frame powder coated, rebuild with new nuts bolts. I've had it running but tick over was a little rough so I've re jetted the card now it wont even fire. Spark is good tried easy start tried fuel into the intake still not even a fast. Could it be the valves. Does anyone have any suggestions....please.
Welcome to the forum. I would start with revisiting the carb. Something seems to have happened during the re-jetting process. Did you only change jets or a full carb rebuild?
Hi ,just changed all the jets and it a no go, then soaked all the old jets in carb cleaner blew them out with air and replaced and still nothing. I'm scratching my head can't figure it out.
Check for spark. You may have knocked something loose whilst fiddling about under the tank. If you have spark, then you likely messed up something in the carb work. Also check your compression.
Will the engine run when fed STARTING FLUID? If so, carburetor/fuel delivery likely comprise the problem.
