I dusted off my angle grinder and removed approximately 0.2 inches from the tab surface that stops the sidestand in the down position.

This allows the foot to swing up and forward from the stock position, effectively "shortening" the sidestand 1/2 inch and moving the foot forward 2 inches.

The additional 2 inches helps prevent rolloff, and the small mismatch between the foot angle and a hard surface is hardly noticeable.

The only part requiring removal is the switch cover.
