I can't find these pieces on any parts fiche.

My right radiator shroud attaches to the radiator reservoir frame with 2 short plastic tabs and 2 metal "extensions" because the plastic tabs are too short.

Is this standard? I can't see these extensions on any parts fiche for either the radiator or the frame. These shrouds are apparently not part of "bodywork"; they're part of the radiator. These extensions are not on fiche for any of the parts they attach to.

I've lost one and just want to determine if they're supposed to be the same length.

Are they common or on only my bike to "fix" a problem?

If they're common, are the top and bottom ones the same?

(This sure has a taint of negligent wrenching. My KLR doesn't usually shed parts; I can think of only 2 bolts and a nut that have dropped off from vibes plus one that loosens occasionally.)

Thanks.

Grinnin',
You are correct, one can not find those mounting tabs Anywhere!
Never could, never will, they have never been available separately.
And they have Never been attached with 5mm Nylock nuts on the screws either!

They are the same length, top and bottom, left and right. But sometimes a slightly custom length is better. ;)

They come with the new side plastics, at least mine did.

You can make them easy enough out of some heavy gauge sheet metal.

I'd use the same gauge as the original. Just need to know that they're the same length. Tank's off right now so measuring for pdwestman's custom length wouldn't work for a couple weeks.
