Can't hurt and they do look nice.

The brake cylinder does look a little unprotected without it but I suppose it would take just the right crash to do damage, which is usually the case. Cheap protection IMO.

I fall in line with the others, I have one but can't tell you that it saved the day. It just goes along with all the other stuff I may not have needed. :ashamed0001:

And if your handy, you can make your own. Here's one that a friend from work made for me, it's made from high grade aluminum and I just polished it up. He has also made slotted ones that look awesome :D

What about something to replace the plastic guard over the rear brake fluid holder (I thought that was the master cylinder)??Not that I do any real off road riding, but I think a nice aluminum piece would look really good there.

Looks good 650stew.

I've got one very similar.....My boot tends to keep mine polished.

mebbe if I get bored I'll do a rear MC cover too.
