Try running it along the seat, under your leg.

I carry my 10mm in a chest or tanker style holster under my coat. Never been comfortable with a firearm hanging off the side of the bike.

Maybe a take down version rifle in the case on the back.

Thanks for that posting the link.
I was not familiar with that company. They have some really great stuff.
That scabbard looks like it is very well crafted and a nice price as well.

On a side note, I see you have an NC700X.
I have a 2012 model NC700X as well.
Mine is standard shift, is yours or the DCT version?
How do you like your NC?

I have a wee strom as well, picked up used with low miles last year.
I would guess that V strom 1000 will get up and went.
The wee is pretty quick rev and handling (street) is super stable handling (once above 20 mph or so, till then it feels sluggish)

My NC700 is a standard shift. With the other bikes I don't want one auto and others not. I like it mainly for a commuter with the great fuel mileage. Got it for better on road use then the KLR. Cruises at 70-75 a lot better. Love the trunk.

Had a older 650 and then a 1000 Vstrom. Didn't like power delivery especially the 1000. Had a big bog flat spot mid range. Right at the rpm you ride at. Now the newer model 2014 is a total different ball game. Tons of power through the rpm's. No flat spot and handles awesome. Great bike for ripping up the corners and longer rides. I love it. Actually thinking of dumping the KLR and NC as I ride the Vstrom 90% of the time.
