Yesterday I was repairing the safety switch of the clucht, which had time not to work. Without disarming it, I could see that the rod did not come out enough to make the contact and start the motorcycle with the clutch tight. I removed the hand guard and I was able to access the switch and I lubricated and operated it several times. I tried to start the motorcycle with the clutch activated and the switch worked and the motorcycle started.When I installed the hand guard it stopped working. I checked and the lower nut that fixes the hand guard, I felt it was too tight and I loosened it a bit. At that moment the switch started to work. It seems that tightening the nut of the hand guard influences the operation of the switch, since it is made of plastic, a lot of pressure tightens the body and interferes with the operation of the rod preventing its full deployment.
