Hey folks. I have an 06 with a leaky seal right behind the male spline shaft. What is the proper replacement for this? Do I need to take apart the tranny?

Also, the female spline on my shift lever is worn out. Anyone have a suggestion for a decent and cheap replacement?

You can simply pull out the seal from the case and carefully drive in a new one. No need to go inside. You can probably do it without draining the oil by leaning the bike over on the right side. Otherwise save the job for an oil change. Not sure how much oil would weep out with the bike level.
