Yeah.. Whoo Hooo!!!

Just wondering what you've added to your bikes??

My current list is:
Givi 36L bags and mounts
Power Commander III
Givi engine gaurds
SWMoto Centerstand
Givi windshield
Cut down stock windshield
Accesory outlet

Current wish list:
Heated grips or grip covers
Wider footpegs
Aftermarket seat

I've got a new handlebar to install, but haven't done it yet. It's an Answer Aluminum bar in Honda High bend..

Was that Powercommander worth the money? I'm pretty happy with my onboard computer stock.. but I've wondered about the Powercommander.

Tank bra
Pat Walsh engine guards with skid and oil cooler guards and highway pegs
Dan Vesels radiator guard
Dan Vesels luggage guard
STAD top box

I can not tell a lie.. It was on the bike when I bought it.. I don't have anything to reference, and I've only riden one V Strom, and I own that one..

The original owner said it made a huge difference over stock (remember, mine's a 1000 AND a California model) as the stock mapping had a nasty stumble on the low end. I have no stumble.. It pulls off of idle..

You don't HAVE to go to a PC III. Visit the Midwest forum at Strom Troopers and check out the post on the Slimey Crud Run. DavidLSI had his bike tweaked while I stood there, by another user. I can't remember her name, but she plugged in and raised his mapping 1 digit on the first three spots. (Or so I was told) He's very happy with the outcome!!

My PC III has their mapping for a stock bike with stock exhaust, and I've never changed it, so I can't tell you what to even look for..

I bought the bags from a guy on the parts for sale on KLR650.net. He had them mounted on his KLR, and sold the bike. I can't recall his name, though..
I bought the mounts, Givi screen, and engine guards from http://www.sporttour.com/VStrom.htm
Very nice people who answered all my email questions..

The list of mods is way too long for my sleepy fingers to type tonight.

When I bought my wee it had

Center stand
Bar weights
After market windshield
Pelican side cases
Top box
Lowered 3/4 in
Moto tech engine guards
Fog lights
BMW plug
fuse block

Now that it's mine;

Gel seat
Hwy pegs
KLR handle bars, (powder coated)
12V battery tender plug
GPS mount made from bicycle parts

The fuse block is gone, I am making another with a wiring harness to feed a 12V cig lighter, and the battery tender plugs.
The fog lights won't be there long
Will go back to stock links
The pelicans will be replaced with something that looks better. ( they may wind up on the KLR
I'm working on a screen to protect the oil cooler and filter

Your welcome Paper,

I also forgot the bar risers I have.
And I'm almost sure there are a few other things I'm missing.

Would you be so kind as to post a pic of your bike? I'm torn between the 21's or the 36's on the side mounts.

Joe,
This is as close as I can get to a rear view of the bike. I'm not at home right now, and this is what I have available on my photobucket..

Would you boat rockers please stop posting pictures of and talking about the strom? If one just happens to show up in my garage, Joe, I'm sending the redhead to you for an explanation! :D

46Moo: I bought the wee-Strom so I could ride the wife on the back. That might be a good selling point for you
