it use to be a rule that the difference between cold pressure and warm pressure would be 10% of the cold pressure,
if you started with a pressure of 30PSI on a cold tire, and you warmed the tire up and the pressure was 33PSI, then you had the correct tire pressure, basicly you were looking for a 10% percent change between warm and cold, change as required
old rule, maybe with modern technology it is no longer valide?
