I'm looking at the Bridgestone Battlax BT-45 Sport Touring tires at Motorcycle Superstore as possible replacements (when I need them, that is). I like the reviews...and there are even a couple used on DP bikes.

I like the street tires more so than the DP tires since I ride 99.9% on the road. The only time I ride off road is when I go down the gravel drive to the garage where I work on the car that I'm restoring. The BT-45s also come in the stock sizes...which I like.

Does anyone have any experience with these?

I have a BT-45 on the front of my old BMW R80. They're excellent!! They stick and they wear well, too!! I can't speak for the rear version, but the front's excellent..

They're pretty much the standard of bias ply sport touring tires today.. For a good reason..
