Hello all,
Just purchased an 08 KLR and it didn't have a tool kit. What tools and sizes should I get to carry on the bike?
Thanks,
Jon

Minimally, wrenches to fit axle nuts, tire tools (e.g., tire irons, valve core tool, lubricant), patch kit and air source.

Expanding slightly, I'd say wrenches, sockets, and Allen keys for typical nuts and bolts.

The Moose biker's multi-pliers (available from Rocky Mountain) has lots of what you need:

We go on; a light source can be invaluable, as can a $ 3 Harbor Freight multi-meter.

There's no limit!

Whatever you do, be sure to get 8mm and 10mm nut drivers needed to remove the seat. Factory "tool" kit does not come with them.
