I and a couple friends did this ride a couple years back. The biggest suggestion I'll add is to make sure you have enough time. There's a lot to do and see in that loop, and you don't want to rush it if you have a choice.

We actually rode it in about 3.5 days, and didn't have nearly enough time to wander like we should have.

The nice thing about Ontario is that the Province puts up signs for everything, so you'll not have too much problem finding what you're looking for..

Oh, and look out for moose. There's a sign warning you of this about every 3-4Km, so by the time you get home you'll be looking for moose everywhere.:)

Lake Superior Circle Route

Paper, well put.... Ontario is pretty good at signage on most of their roads.

I grew up in the Thunder Bay Area and there is lot of great things to see, it would probabaly take an entire week to run the north shore's side roads. Hiway 61, south of Thunder Bay enroute to Duluth is also a nice ride.... lots to see and check out.

Like your quote: may I us it?
Just a "kite" about "Superior".
I live in Ont Canada and last yr went out to ALberta for a run.
I have a c-90 but am seriously looking at the KLR for diversity.
The run from the Souix to Thunderday is about 500miles (800 kM) and is one of the most beautiful runs you can take. However, "Superior" has a witches heart , when the weather turns cold (even in summer) the fog will roll in and
you can feel the breath of {Heckett} the cold hearted witch in Macbeth.
IF you decide to go take your camera and enjoy ,savour the view, and oh yes
don't forget your rain gear
Ride hard ;ride free
