Turn Signals. Replacements? Options?

Probably just gonna go the NiceCnc route and eliminate the stalks.
But before I order.

Any other turn signals I should check out? Has anyone used the Amazon ones that do the progressive/sweeping thing? Or any of the universal lights?
I’ve got no issue with the stock lights and they all work, just a broken/bent stalk on one.

fyi 3dcycle parts has oem replacement for 65.00 to 75.00. Or a stalk eliminator kit for 20.00.
Not KLR related but I replaced the turn signals on my girlfriend's CB500X with LED sequential signals from Amazon. I 3D printed a piece to fill the hole in the plastic bodywork and they look great. Very bright and much smaller than the stock signals. I did have to replace the relay with an LED Flasher Relay from TST industries to make the sequential blinking work but she loves how they turned out. She dropped her bike and one of the signals hit the hard mud and didn't break so they seem pretty sturdy.

Many of us have tried the LEDs for turn signals on a KLR and ended up going back to the regular bulbs. If you use LEDs, you also have to change the flasher uint, and often incompatibilities occur. The only reason I would change the whole turn signal light and stalk is if the rear lights interfered with my panniers or soft bags. Otherwise, leave them alone and spend your money on a Happy Trails WOW tail/brake light that will actually improve your visibility and safety.

As above, Post # 2, 3D stalk eliminators at $ 20 solved the problem for me; Generation 1 KLR650 and KLR250 (the latter required some "custom" work; 3D advised me soundly and even sent extra parts necessary at no charge).

YMMV!
