The fan for my 2016 has been B.O. for more than a month at Kawasaki and im leaving on a trip across asia in 2 weeks! I need a fan!!! If anyone willing to sell his 2015 to 2018 fan I will place an order to the dealership the closest to you home and get you a brand new fan as soon as they deliver. (should be very soon, but I can't take the risk.

You can call me if you got anything to help here.

Thanks!
Ben

If you're handy, I'm sure you can get an earlier fan or even an EX500 fan to work with some minor modifications.....it's been done.

The EX500 fan motor & blades will install Into the 1996-2007 fan brackets, Dave. You would need to link a posting of the EX500 fan adapting on to a GEN 2.

The 2008- 2014 fan has 2 mounting legs on the LEFT side & 1 mounting leg on UPPER RIGHT.

The 2015- Early 2018 fan has 1 mounting leg on Upper Left & 2 mounting legs on the RIGHT side. Part screen for (EJF/EJFA)

The second production run of the 2018 has reverted BACK to the 2008-2014 style of mounting the fan, 2 legs on the Left side. Part screen for (EJS)

Thanks Paul. I'm aware of some (not all) of the various nuances regarding KLR fan mounting. .....and since I have a sheet metal fab shop, I'm pretty sure that I could make any fan work on any year KLR so that's an option too if you're really stuck; most large HVAC shops have the same fabrication equipment I do.

Cheers,
Dave
