hey easy goer. 06 Red, myself. Exploring sounds good to me. I am the only one of my riding buddies that have a dual sport so this could be cool. Keep me posted.

What company are you taking the course with?

almost ready to ride

The Motorcycle school of San Antonio on Fredericksburg Rd. It is 15 hours of training 5 in the classroom and 10 on the bike which they provide. Then I don't have to take the driving portion of the licensing test just the written. It's just a pain to have to get someone to follow you in a car carrying the test administrator, so this aspect of the course is nice. Anyway the course was only $195 and you get a discount on your insurance to. email me your number or address and I,ll give you a call or drop you a line after I get my motorcycle license and insurance. ready to ride

Hey phil, I have taken my riding course, got me mc license, got my insurance and started exploring already. I rode to Canyon lake yesterday from my house in Schertz. It nottoo far as you know but I left the house without my jacket because it was sunny and about 65 degrees or so. Well needless to say I got a little cold on the ride and was quite chilled by the time I made it back. It was fun I rode river road and all the campsites were empty. Lets see what it looks like a month from now during Spring Break. Email me or call so we can do some riding I don't have any riding buddies yet as I have only owned my KLR for a couple of weeks now. [email protected] or 210 379-4540 By the way anyone else that is from the area is also welcome to contact me as I said I am looking for riding buddies.

Hey Easy. My daughter and I rode the same area Saturday... very cold, especially in the wind.

I am not sure how this weekend is shaping up , time wise. I hate to be so wishy washy but, I simply won't know till friday.

When I got the KLR I would ride all kinds of little trails I found. Then after a couple of spills I realized I could really get hurt and doing this by myself and could be dangerous. I admit to being a whimp.

If things work out would saturday meet up at the pilot @ 337 and Ruekle be good for you?

That would be great but I have to work on Saturday. But I will be available Sunday if want to get together then. I am just a blue collar HVAC worker that has to work weekends ever now and then. That meeting spot would be fine if we can come to together on a time and day.

Ok so there is isolated thunderstorms predicted for Sunday. Come on you know as well as I do the weather predicting people around her blow. And when is the last time we got a good storm 1998 was it? I am going to ride sunday and I don't care if I have to duct under an overpass for a few minutes. Isolated means we can ride around the storms or chase them which ever you folks like better.

I can't make that one. I work nearly every Sunday. I found out that I have ridden the willow city thing. Three years ago. I just did not kow the name for it. It is a nice ride. I did it on the gold wing so it is not a DS road.
