Well I just found this site ,
it Looks like I will fit in as I have Questions and Have found many of the answers already to a few of them ,

One Question is when do you know you have done your last Mod on your bike ?
as it seems I found a hand full already sense i been here

Little about me Im mdel747 some just call me 7
I bought a old 2003 KLR650 about a month ago she only has 4700 miles on her , Snow just left up here in wisc , and first rain to wash the roads but i did get her out for 62 miles the other day ,
I have been working on her a bit as i added Eagle Mikes fork brace and dropped the fender and found a fender support brace for it ,
Great deal on it from Ebay under 20 bucks and only 8 days shipping out of Portugal , ( no links yet not at 15 posts ) But it looks great and stiffens the fender as it should ,

But i added a bracket to the triple and have a set of 30w Cree fog lights
and a 60w 7" spot Led light bar ,Al-tho i have to modify the bracket as i need more clearance i think ,

Im taking it in tue to do the Doohickey mod and carb kit from EM
new grips will be in tomorrow then i can install the breakaway cruse
I picked up new for 45 bucks ,oh did i mention im a cheap old goat lol
but doing the sub frame upgrades , KNM filters wile doing the chain tensioner , other than that i relocated the Lic, plate and added LED button plate lights I cut the sub fender back and added a older Rack that i sanded down and shot it Black bed liner ,looks great ,
Shoei GT Air for 200 bucks it's a Quite helmet

anyway this novel is getting long

thanks for reading if you made it this far
Suggestions always welcome and encouraged

Mdel747,
If you haven't yet spent the $ for K&N air filter, it is strongly suggested that you Don't.
The stock OEM or Uni-Filter "Oiled foam filters" have been proven to flow more air than the K&N, in this application.

That is primarily because of the steel end cap of the K&N.

The LAST modification you will make to your bike is the signature you write on the TITLE as you wipe the tear from your eye when you sell it to the next addict.
