I've never had a tire wear out so fast! At only 1,800 miles the stock rear tire is about gone. I estimate it to have about 500 good miles left on it and then it will be sketchy. I will say I got great traction on the muddy dirt roads up here in Michigan and find them wholly adequate for my type of riding with the exception of wear. Any recommendations for a good 50 50 rear tire that will be compatible with the front stock Dunlop which seems to be wearing well and at least give the same off road grip as the Dunlop 750 yet wear at least twice as long?

I think one could safely recommend the Kenda K270 or K761's. And probably triple or quadruple your rear tire mileage.

If, as you say, you found the stock Dunlop adequate for your type of riding you don’t need a 50/50 tire. You won’t get a great improvement in longevity compared to the Dunlop. The stock Dunlop’s aren’t the best wearing tires, that’s a given.

The Kenda 270 as suggested, the Shinko 244, the Shinko 700 are good options in about a 60/40 category.

The Kenda 761, which is one of my favourite tires, is more a 70/30 but has fantastic life.

I am giving the new Bridgestone AX41 a try. It shows it is a 50/50 tire. It is a tubeless tire, but Bridgestone says it is fine to use as a tube tire. I have not put it on yet. I am going to do the tubeless conversion to the rim first. Those supplies come in this week. It has to be way better than the stock tire!
