Pics from the Hoh Rainforest ride. 120+ miles, bike was flawless, only thing that took a hit was the plate!

This one was taken by SLO-KLR on a trip we took last weekend. This is the Henness Pass area in the Sierra. The sheer beauty of the area got uglied up with our mugs, but whatever.

Tried to take a picture in a field of canola. Didn't realize just how tall the plant was till I got in there.

Thanks for hitting this old thread fellas,

I have been all caught up in the Alaska thing and haven't visited this forum for a long time. It's cool to see pictures of you! Is Lockjaw still posting?

Yesterday I did about 100 miles of roads (mostly dirt & back-country). A nice fall ride.
These shots are all 5 to 20 miles from home (as the crow flies).

Some of my favorite roads are still closed because of Hurricane Irene flooding.
Here is where a bridge was.

Here's where the bridge is now:

A few more shots here:

Ford Road Toxic Waste Dump.
Elyria, Ohio

No, really. A toxic waste dump.

FordRoad.net
I just had to read about that place. I especially liked the line "exposed barrels of toxic waste protruding from the landfill can pose a physical threat to visitors."

Glad to hear you didn't hit any of them and wind up like this guy:

"Dont Touch Me, Man!"
