SNOW ride

I went for a quick ride today. Just long enough to remember why this isn't a good idea!

Why a quad is the better choice on remote trails near my home!

It's not a Tractor....It's a LOCOMOTIVE!! Chugga Chugga

Can't beat a good quad in those conditions that's for sure!
Have you relubed your swingarm bushings yet? If not, I would before too long or you'll be beating them out after the winter season if you ride it in the wet and cold.....augh! Just saying.....

Lol! Your a wildman Jeff! I used to ride my dirt bikes in the snow all the time, but they were way lighter and not nearly as top heavy. If that was my 08 with the Gripsters on it, it would be napping on its side in that picture!

I invited you Stew!!! Good call in not going. My XR 500 was lots better in the snow. the KLR is kinda like balancing on top of a POGO stick. On ice. Especially with the full tank.
Riding gravel or sand is easy compared to snow!

Now that looks like fun. I bet you were slipping and sliding all around. If it were me i would have had a blast doing it. Bit nippy but well worth it im sure.
