First Canada Ride 2013!

The snow pack on our lane got soft enough for the Heidenau scouts to mostly have sufficient purchase to ride the short way to the county road and we were off!

I have no idea how to include an image in a post so imagine:

Image: 2008 "Blue 21" KLR, code name Trigger, on the side stand on a medium dry gravel road surface which should have ditches. Except ditches are holding snow from a recent round of global warming that is plowed up to just above the height of the stop sign, let's say 8 feet. Sunshine and extreme blue sky above. Didn't notice the stupid power pole which has completely ruined my award winning composition.

I've managed to be out twice in the past week. May try again today once the temps get a little warmer. Almost time to fill the fuel tank again.

Didn't realize Wainwright is 6 km across.

I don't thinks it's even 6 km across, that's winding my way through town to get to the base from the east end of town. It's a pretty small place!
