Looks like I picked a good day...

I know our days for riding here are numbered, and plus, you can only spend so much here reading about other people riding before you have to get out there yourself. So I pried myself away from here....

A little blurry, but this is one of my favorite pictures of the boys, taken 8 years ago. Jake was 10, and Cody was 7. They are jumping out of the store window at the marina. Everytime I see this pic, it reminds me of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid" when they jump off the cliff. You can see them holding hands as they are jumping......

Back to the story. I suited up......

And pushed the bike out. How cold was it you ask? Well, thats not smoke coming out of the exhaust. It was 39 degrees when I left the house.....Like my new sticker?.....

First stop was in Spokane, at the bank......

My second stop was at a buddies house. He does alot of custom painting and vinyl graphics, the hood is off a Firebird drag car....

A quick stop at the store for supplies....

And back to my little town. I stopped down at the local watering hole to warm up. It is now 42 degrees...

The big guy to my left is Ken. He is a great guy, but until you get to know him, you would think he is mad all the time, but he's not. Thats just Ken. His son is also on the football team. They won the league playoff, but going into the cross over game, 2 of our star players got into a fight at school the day of the game and got suspended. We lost the game that night so they are done for the year. Wrestling starts monday.......

Our bartender Betty, she has worked here for 8 years....

Then its back home....

What I meant by " Looks like I picked a good day" is this is what I was greeted by this morning. Our first snow fall of the year.

Well, this is it until the snow melt, I know its not much, but its all I got. It could be worse, I could be like Jamie, he's got nothin... Til next time....

The shortest distance between two points is a damn shame.......

I rode Broke Back mountain, and my a$$ is killing me.....

:si0009 In my next life I'm coming back as KLRGunn, minus some parts.

You did order a soft drink at that bar, right? :si0005

Hugs,

Please keep that white stuff up there.

The weatherman is calling for 80 degrees tomorrow,
Then Sat is rain and high of 60.

I'll have to put some miles on the KLR tomorrow.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life.
