And we like to think of ourselves, as adventure cyclist!

Check out this riders Adventure!
www.bikewanderer.com

He passed with-in 30 miles of Lander, WY today. Headed for Rawlins, WY across the now frozen, Red Desert. About 100 miles in sub-Zero temps. Wind chill in Lander, WY now of -20f.

Two of my friends may be on his next video.

I wonder how he is financing a trip like that.
And is he doing all the video work himself?

Awesome pictures too.

Hey! Your friends are indeed in that video, could you forward the link to them? (is that them at 40:40?)

(unfortunately I can't post links here... but if you go to my website that pdwestman linked you can see the link to the video called: SEE THE WORLD 3: THE GREAT DIVIDE )

as for financing this - I did planting trees in British Columbia last year and now I am back in Canada to work for two months before continuing.

I loved seeing guys on adventure bikes (BMW, ktm, etc.) in Alaska. I hope to one day re-trace my path on a motorbike.

cheers!

iohan,
Great camera work, great views of a great adventure. Thanks for taking us all with you.

Yes, that was Clark and Mike in the white truck, near Atlantic City/South Pass City, Wy.

Ride safe.

A few years back I was riding with two Germans and an Irishman I had met on the way to Deadhorse, AK on the Arctic Ocean. We were stopped waiting for a pilot car at a construction site when a couple of other riders rode up. They started talking about how tuff they were riding their motorcycles 500 miles up a dirt road to the Arctic Ocean when two guys on bicycles rode up and the motorcycle riders shut up really quickly.

The bicyclist started talking about how tuff they were and how the motorcyclist were wimps. While they were tuff talking a guy came up behind them on foot pushing a three wheeled cart headed for the Arctic. They shut up really fast. I was half expecting to see a guy on crutches come up behind him.

There must be a moral in the story somehow.
