LBL, right in my backyard
I live 20 miles from the visitor center of Land Between The Lakes National Recreation Area
170,000 uninhabited acres and hundreds of miles of Gravel/dirt roads and over 100 miles of shoreline along Barkley and Kentucky lakes. One of the main reasons I picked up my KLR last year was to further explore the rugged backwoods areas. Here are some pics from recent trips to LBL.
The last now abandoned house of the last guy who refused to leave after the Government took over LBL via Eminent domain in the 1960's. He died 20 or so years ago.
