Skaggs Spring-Stewarts Pt. to Sea Ranch

Hello,
Went on a ride today and thought I'd share some pics. This ride basically leaves from my house- hard to believe that I had not done it before. It basically leaves from Lake Sonoma and goes to the Coast (Sea Ranch area) and took about one hour each way with a few stops here and there. It was a great ride that I plan to do again soon.

A few nice old bridges along the way. Made for some good scenery.

I found a little trail the led down to the creek. It looks like you can cross and head back further into the hills. I was not interested in testing the stock tires in the creek by myself.

When I was within a few miles of the coast, it got really cold really quickly. I rode up the coast to top the tank and just in the few minutes that it took , the sun came out and the weather was beautiful. I headed back to a place called "Bones BBQ" and sat out on the deck and watched the ocean. Great food and an excellent way to end the ride. If anyone has not tried this ride, I highly recommend it -and would be glad to show you the way.

Yep...

Thats a nice ride! Larryboy and I rode that, and then rode to Mendocino for lunch, and the back down 128. Nice pics!

I do sooo much miss living in NORCAL. The riding there was fantastic! Great pics. I do believe I've been across that bridge on Skaggs-Spring as well...

next time

Love that area.

Something I like to do: combine it with King Ridge Road (left on Skyline off Skaggs Springs about 5 miles before hitting 1).

My favorite is doing Knoxville-Berryessa, 175 over to 101, 253 to 1, 1 south to king ridge, king ridge to skaggs, if time permits - lap on geysers - home.

That's what I saw on the ride- red x's. I suppose that by your unimpressed reactions, I should not have bothered taking pictures of them.

I have been drinking...

Well if that is what it takes I think I will crack a few Blue Moons. Just a few because Darren might not appreciate me drinking too many and not showing up for the cylinder install tomorrow morning.
