Riding New Hampshire

Well it's winter here in the great Northeast. I'm reviewing some of my older videos, and thought I'd post this one for all you riders "snowed-in". Maybe even you guys out there in the warmer climates.
This is a collection of different things I've come across while riding around N.H.

Thanks again Larry. Do you have Moose in New Hampshire? Looks like their perfect habitat.

Thanks! Looks like tent camping would have fantastic choices. Never ridden the NE and don't know why (or at least have a good excuse)

I hate to admit this, but in all my riding back country, I've only seen moose... Near populated areas.
Back in 1986, when my house was being built, one trotted up our street. I was riding my Cavalcade when I saw him. Got my little camera out of pocket on top of the saddlebag, and got a pix just as he turned onto the powerline.
Only once did we see one in back yard. Never out on the back roads. Guess we only have "city-moose"

Lander WY has so many Mule Deer in town that an archery season has been discussed by the city council many times. Enough deer in town that an occasional Mountain Lion comes into town looking for an easy meal.
During severer winters we do get Moose in town also. And a small Elk herd or two with-in a half mile of city limits!
Due to the 'Greater Yellowstone EcoSystem' gray Wolf territory natural expansion, the Elk herds seem to be coming closer, earlier, each passing year.

There's a lot of places to sneak out into the woods to camp. Not sure how legal it is.
It's getting kind of crowded here. New houses, and developments popping up every year.
Places, I used to ride are now built up, or blocked off from riding.

If I ever hit the mega-millions, I'd start buying up open land, and put it into some kind of protected status, if I could.

I would even put aside a section to be for only off road motorcycles. ( No snow machines allowed.)
There was a trail locally that bikes were allowed to go on. Just last year the snowmobile club restricted it to snow machines only. I'm sick of snowmobiles getting to use the trails, and us bikers being treated like "dirt".
We do have one OHRV trail system locally. Others that do allow you to go on them, restrict to ATVs only. Think I'll go buy me a lottery ticket!

If you are ever around here, don't forget to ride Vermont too. Both states have great back roads.
