My Advernture rider from Idaho to California

My nephew was getting married and I wanted to go. My kids all had summer school, my wife had to work, I'm self employed so that pretty much makes me the boss. Since I was about broke for the time, I decided to save some $$ on gas and drive Big Blue, my '08.

I left Rupert Idaho, Went through Twin Fall and down into Nevada through jack pot Nevada on Hwy 93. Took 93 to Wells, (got gas) picked up hwy 80 and took it to Battle Mtn, (got gas) Turned south on hwy 305 and took it to Hwy 50.

On Hwy 50 I saw the Shoe tree and Sand mountain Rec area, both pretty neat stuff to see along the way.

Took Hwy 50 to Fallon, (got Gas) and turned south on Hwy 95 to Walker lake and stayed at a campsite there.

Got up and continued south on 95 to Hawthorn and had breakfast. (oh yeah, I got gas too, for the bike, not from the breakfast)

I picked on hwy 359 and took it west, at California line it turned to hwy 167 and took it to hwy 395, went south and turned west on hwy 120

I took 120 trough Tioga pass and Yosemite,

I continued to my brother's home near where I grew up, on Smith Station Road. I Had a great time, got around 52 MPG and look forward to the next trip.

I know it wasn't quite like taking a trip from N.Y. to Chile but it was all I had time for. It was pretty fun, the longest ride I've taken yet, about 1585 miles in all. I have to admit it was a little rough on the keester.
