WOOT had a blast!

Well, I am back! Had a blast and learned A LOT! The KLR is such an awesome bike and it will be a long time before I will ever be able to keep up with it. I now truly grasp the idea that one can ride their whole lives and still learn something new everyday.

So I am late getting home by a few days because I needed some heal time. Yep thats right I ate it! My last day out riding with friends on a motorcycle ONLY trail and I came around a hairpin to find a jerk off truck FLYING up at me! Luckily for me I was going slow and took the turn wide pointing me up the mountain vs going off the steep side. So with no room on either side of him I went up the mountain and just missed getting run over by him then my skill ran out and next I know I'm rolling for what seemed like forever. I am so stoked I didn't give on my going full gear no matter how hot it was!

Anyways here are some pics as I know that is all that you bunch care about LOL!

OK. This is good. Not the wrecking yer bike part. The posting pictures part. It's got everything. Flag, flowers, fireworks, tales of danger. Report accepted as given. Carry on.

EDIT: A question has been raised down in the Moderators Lounge. They want to know if the driver of the truck might of been a jealous husband. It would sure add to the story.

I love the 'this is what you like' and then a shitload of flowers. Goddamn we are badass bikers. Was going through trip pics today and it was all wildflowers and views. I gotta get some chaps.

Quick, distract him with more pics of the bike:

And now some fixing pics:

Oh and some battle wounds to my armor:

Impact:

Notice the blood stain on the seam of the right knee above the black. Amazing how much a small bit of rash can bleed and bleed!

And just for you LJ a bit of Shaka and FLOWERS for my avatar:

I'm sure you can change your handle, but I don't know how. You could PM one of the Mods.

We have tried to change you name but, our powers do not let us do that. I see two ways that it can be done.

1. Log off for good, and re-register under your new name. (loose your post count) If this is done I would put in your sig line who you were before "Formally the flower, flag, firework, wreckem' up guy"

2. Send a PM to the owner (serialKLR) and see if he has the "button"

That's a 09 right? Folks have been saying that the plastic would explode into a million pieces. Looks like it held up good to me.
