Feb 10th AMA museum visit Columbus Ohio

Hi all,
We have a bunch of Feb B-day boys having a get together at the AMA museum on the 10th of Feb at noon. There will be cake and some N/A refreshments to replenish the drool lost looking at the bikes! Admission is $5 for AMA members and $10 for non-members, just make sure you let them know your there for the party for the discount! The web site has directions to the meseum http://www.motorcyclemuseum.org
I hope that some of the mid west riders might be able to make it as most attending have dual forum citizenship.
Chances are after touring the museum we will choose another location for some dinner and drinks. Given weather conditions riding is optional but you'll get better parking if you do ride!

Hope to see you there,
Luke

The wife and I are planning on driving up Friday to look at a few motorhomes in Ohio, then saying Happy Birthday to whoever on Saturday. We may not be able to stay for dinner and drinks, but I do want a slice of cake.

Congratulations on the RV! And thanks for stopping in. I hope you enjoyed the cake. It was good to finally meet you and I really enjoyed chatting. I hope you had a chance to chat with some of the others. I'll try to get some more pictures as they're posted on ADV. In the mean time here's the blurry pics I got.
Adrian, AKA Whitestone

Lorenzopam, Willey strand, and Blimpman (Brian)

Glenn checking out the chest guard he donated! Gotta be wierd having items with great enough historic value to be displayed.

Finnaly the blurry pic of Mr and Mrs. Daddyjoe.

Thanks again for coming and sharring some good times with us.

It was my pleasure, I always enjoy meeting people that share the love of the KLR and motorcycles in general.

Thank You buildit for putting this together.

I still say any museum for motorcycles that don't have a KLR on display is wrong. Afterall the KLR has been produced for 20+ years without any major changes, (until 08). That has to be some kind of record. Anyway I am proud to own my KLR.

Glad you two had a good time. I am always amazed by the good people who are involved in the world of dual sport riding, their enthusiasm and support is beyond comparison.
As for the long term production bikes, I guess both of my rides though almost brand new could find a seat at the table.
KLR 20+ years production
V-max 26 years of production.
- Any bike in suscessful production for that long has to be doing something right.
