Are there any other Texas riders that do Tech Days?

Do you think we need a tech day?

I think we should get us a ride day. Some Saturday would work for me.

I live near Sea World on the far west side of SA. The tech day is something that I am debating in the next few months ... I suppose to have a look at that doo-hickey thing. But until then, lets ride. The back roads in the Hill Country look like a hurricane went through. I rode 300 miles, mostly off road, yesterday including at least 10 tricky water crossings.

Let me know when you are available to ride and how far you can go ... I usually go all day.

It was about half off road miles, but most of the day due to lower avg speeds. We met in Blanco, had breakfast, then headed towards comfort where we started prowling roads closed due to flooding ... crossed many rushing streams (kinda scary) then hit the non-paved county roads around Utopia ... that was all torn up everywhere we went. The water crossings were high and some were just unpassable. One of the guys we met up with in Blanco dumped it in a creek on his way back to Austin. He is okay, but the bike lost some signals and plastics. All in all, very fun riding!

It is part of the country road which is mostly unpaved. The water is normally about 6 inches deep this time of year, but was over our heads the day before and only 5 feet deep at the lowest point, but moving way too fast for even the big 4x4 trucks to attempt.
