Smile Tech day near Colorado Springs Colorado?

Hoping there will be a Tech day near me soon. My bike is in need of help and I don't want to pay a dealership the big money to do it! I have a 2008 with zero mods and want to change that. Also would be great to meet some people in my area to ride with. take care and ride safe, Ken Bates

CB,
StgMarty from the KLR650.net forum is having a Tech Day on May 3rd. He's near Larkspur/Perry Park, South West of Castle Rock. You can check the .net site in the Rockies section or to to SgtMarty.com for more info. I've never been. Doohickey's, Valve Check/Adjust, KLX Kits, $.22 mod seem to be the most common items. I'm a noob to KLR's so I'll probably just go hang out, watch and learn, help out if I can.

Thx Rojo. I definitely need to make it there. I have everything needed for a tune up plus just ordered magnetic drain plug, KLX jet kit for higher altitude, doohickey kit and longer risers from Eagle Mikes and need to rewire ignition thx to an attempted theft of my bike! It's a lot to do with me having zero mechanical skill. My e-mail is [email protected] if ever you want to shoot me a message! Thanks much, Ken Bates

Ken,
That's quite a list. I'm interested in the KLX kit for higher altitude. I've not worked much on KLR's other than chain maintenance and adjustment since Feb. I have worked on other vehicles so I at least know a wrench from a socket. See you there.
