Darn! Mine would have been the fastest (on the dyno)

Motophoto / Matercity

Thanks for the comeback on the Jardine guys. I really want one but I am hesistant due to the fact that you have to give it a whack now and then. Its like you said it could all be due to being lowered. I really hate setting something up to be right, then having to tinker around with it to keep it right. I will just have to think it out in my head on what to do here.

DX thanks for your tip to. KLR.com does have a good package deal going right now on the Jardine, with the jet kit and air cleaner.

Tinkering is what you will be doing, if you own a KLR.

My Jardine should be in tomorrow or Fri. I'll give a heads up, a bunch of pictures and a general run down of how bad I think it is to deal with, then will try to remember to give a report every month or so if there are any issues. As far as being lowered, I went the other way and lifted mine an inch, so I may not have the issue some will have if bike is lowered.

Now quit that. I hurt my sides laughing and leg from slapping it.

That bigjoe's a funny guy! Your killing me here mater.

For some reason, its funny picturing matercity laughing while slapping his leg, now that is funny.

Yeah DX, I am interested in how it goes for sure. I just love that big can look that the Jardine has. Let me know about the insert that lowers the db's.

Motophoto, do you have the insert that quietens the tone down on that Jardine exhaust. If so, how does that work out, is it way quieter, just a little?
Does it seem to affect the performance one way or another?

Moto, would you do it all over again, the Jardine, or is there something else you have tried that you like better.
