Moto, would you do it all over again, the Jardine, or is there something else you have tried that you like better.
What! I was searching and found a test where they measured different exhausts. Jardine was the loudest at 108.

I had better listen to one of these before I up and buy. I really like mine being quite, especially on the road riding somewhere for several hours.

The insert is supposed to knock the decibel level down to almost that of the OEM exhaust. The FedEx tracking says my stuff will be here next Wed. the 27th. I will know by Thursday wut it sounds like both open and with the insert.

I have the insert in my and it does a fair job of bringing the db level down but by no means to the stock level. If you commute on your bike and have neighbors you like you'll be using the insert. That Jardine has some serious BARK w/o the insert.

You know what they say, hind sight is 20-20. Would I do it again, yes. I got mine from klr650.com, looks like they have the same deal going on.

So how does SLO-KLR rate it out on the open road with the insert installed, say traveling between 65~75 for a few hours.

Heres something else that I am curious about also, does it run any different, as far as power and torque go, with that stopper plugged in?

You know, I have "juiced" up cars and bikes from stock in the past and sometimes, I wish I would have left it alone. But darn'it, I think I am in need of some >%&* racket!

So Moto - did you jet the carb and install the free flow air cleaner as well.

Could you tell a change in fuel usage?

I haven't had it out on an extended run with the quiet module in it but I think it will be liveable. The one all day run I've done was with out the quiet module installed. The noise wasn't bad at all while trail riding but ya sure know when you've grabbed that throttle. Here are a couple of videos I shot right after installing the Jardine, no quiet module. It gives you some idea of the sound.
