I had already installed a free flowing air filter before installing the new can. To begin with I did not jet it, ran waaaaaay to lean. Installed the mid jet, bike ran better yet still had a bit of a miss at highway speeds. Installed the jet rated for off road, bike has ran great since. Sorry I can not remember the jet sizes off the top of my head. I have put around 10,000 miles with this set up without any problems. Yes I had already drilled the crab.
Mileage is running in the mid to upper 40's depending on the ride. I have pulled the plug several times and it looks good so I think that she is dialed in pretty good.

SLO those are some killer trails. Where are they at? 400+ pounds of heavy metal is not very forgiving. What front gear are you using? Were you able to ride with another KLR with stock exhaust to hear the difference? Can you feel any difference? Thanks for the rides buddy.

It gives you some idea of the sound.

Thats not as loud as I was thinking, but still pretty loud. I do bet that stopper will quieten it down a great deal. Cool video by the way!

Sounds like you've got a good set up for sure. Hey, 10K miles of riding, no combustion or fuel related problems, and the fact your plug looks good, I would be happy.
