Young Rodeo Dual Sport Ride

Rally Points
9:00 A.M. Circle K on Shea Blvd. in Fountain Hills
10:00 A.M. Punkin Center Store N 33.52.359 W 111.18.866

Giddy Up as we ride north of Roosevelt Lake to Young. This will be a back roads ride to Buzzard's Roost and up to the top of the mesa. Outstanding views and some great trails. Lunch will be at the Antler Inn at Young. Be sure to get the Antler Burger!

Heading home we can take the road over 4 Peaks for more adventure or you can take the tarmac.

This ride is rated 4 Skid Plates out of 5. Knobbies will be a must. If you have Igloo sized bags on your bike, best to leave them at home.

All brands and bikes welcome.

Get ready for a really fun ride with all the usual characters!

Payson riders will rally at Whiting Bros. station at Aero Dr.

Stock tires are supposed to be50/50. I guess you could air down some & just be cool in your riding. I will check with someone who knows.

Be careful airing them down too much and then spinning the tire on the rim an ripping the air valve off the tube. bad mojo doing that...

2008 DL650 VStrom Yellow and Black
Previous ride was a 2007 KLR Black/Silver, I miss it..
Looking to get back into KLR's sometime soon.

Roger that.

650sider: I am told that the stock tires are OK if you are competent.

Thanks, John. Perhaps I'll see you in Payson.

I'll be coming from Flagstaff.
