tech morning, N GA, then we ride
As an addendum to my earlier post:
Join us for an early and informal "tech morning" starting at 8:30 am this saturday, sept 13th?
I will have some coffee and donuts
I am told it takes about an hour to change out the doo hickey.
If anyone wants to do that, we can. I have many different types of flywheel pullers, but I don't know if I have the right one for the KLR, so someone may have to bring one. I will try to match one of mine at the kaw shop up the road.
BTW, I don't have a KLR manual, so that's something else someone needs to bring.
If anyone needs parts like dohickies, tires, setc. let me know so I can have what you need here in time.
we can leave on a ride at about 11 am, depending on how the repairs are going.
As far as the riding; I will be happy to lead ya'll down some fun, twisty rds in hilly country. I have put together a loop of about 65miles. There are a variety of surfaces, from smooth black top with a proper centerline to paved pig trail roads and several miles of gravel. It is scenic, twisty and fun.
Mid-way thru that loop we can do a lunch stop at Rico's Italian restaraunt in Fairmount.
From there, as a destination someone mentioned a stop to visit Dale of Dale's near TWO compground who is recovering from illness or injury (I'm not sure).
That sounds like a nice afternoon of riding around in North Ga.
