Tech morning N GA.

This is to post notice and make an official commitment.
I am hosting a tech MORNING at GMD Computrack Atlanta, located in Jasper, Ga. at 279 confederate ave, 706 253 1148
Date: sept 13th, 2008. that is a Saturday.
My thoughts are to do some doo'hickies in the am. I will be here and into mine early, like around 8am.
Then I can help whomever needs help doing their doo's or whatever. Then as soon as we can wrap up, hopefully well before lunchtime, we can all go on a ride that will encompass a stop at Dale's near TWO to help with his benefit fund raising.
Having never even been to a tech day, I can only imagine what goes on. Any help setting it up, will be greatly appreciated. I know it is short notice.

come one come all. We'll have fun.
rsvp. You know, head count for coffee and donuts, etc.

randmacnally.com will find this new business park address,(see above) but google or mapquest will not. or call the nunber above, 9-6 mon-fri

If anyone needs tires or other parts let me know so I can order as needed.
I'll have a mechanic on hand for mounting tires, etc.

I thought you said you could ride"

All the best

tech morning, N GA, then we ride

As an addendum to my earlier post:
Join us for an early and informal "tech morning" starting at 8:30 am this saturday, sept 13th?
I will have some coffee and donuts
I am told it takes about an hour to change out the doo hickey.
If anyone wants to do that, we can. I have many different types of flywheel pullers, but I don't know if I have the right one for the KLR, so someone may have to bring one. I will try to match one of mine at the kaw shop up the road.

BTW, I don't have a KLR manual, so that's something else someone needs to bring.
If anyone needs parts like dohickies, tires, setc. let me know so I can have what you need here in time.

we can leave on a ride at about 11 am, depending on how the repairs are going.

As far as the riding; I will be happy to lead ya'll down some fun, twisty rds in hilly country. I have put together a loop of about 65miles. There are a variety of surfaces, from smooth black top with a proper centerline to paved pig trail roads and several miles of gravel. It is scenic, twisty and fun.

Mid-way thru that loop we can do a lunch stop at Rico's Italian restaraunt in Fairmount.
From there, as a destination someone mentioned a stop to visit Dale of Dale's near TWO compground who is recovering from illness or injury (I'm not sure).
That sounds like a nice afternoon of riding around in North Ga.

sounds good, Kent. Lookin forward to gettin the doo done and I want to install my bar end weights (since it is necessary to saw off a bit of the end of the throttle to do so, I have been afraid to do it on my own...lame, I know.) Also gonna put on some new grips. Any idea on how many plan to come? I will plan to be there at 8:30. Should be a good ride too. I believe the benefit for Dale is at Woody Gap school, not far from Dales. I will get the details on that. Hopefully the weather cooperates. So far, looks like it will be a nice day.
