Wanna hit a little dirt?

I think Scott Nelson already posted this, but we're going to meet up in Dublin this Saturday at nine and then go to Carnegie and do some very tame dirt riding (perfect for a street guy like me). I'm a little embarrassed how many miles my KLR has on it since about 5 of them have been "offroad". Anyone else wanna get their wheels dirty?

"C'mon, it'll be fun", to quote some guy I know.

Saturday... The Christmas season...and retail do not mix for me. "On any Sunday" always does. Be aware... Your dirt may be mud on Saturday so ride safe!

Yeah, I just checked accuweather and they say rain. But they are not very reliable if you ask me. We'll see.

I look at it as a good opportunity to try out my rain gear. One rider will be driving there in a Jeep with his KTM on the back, so the Jeep is available as a sort of storage locker for extra gear, like my jacket liner that will keep me from freezing on the way there.

So Lockjaw, are you definitely planning to come?

It's gonna come down to the weather. My rain gear is not good enough for hours of riding in the rain. It gets me back and forth from work fairly dry. If it isn't raining, I'm in. I'll definitely let you know before...I'm checking the weather and keeping my fingers crossed.

I would love to go on this ride- especially considering the dirt. Unfortunately, like Mark, I am stuck working.
Scott- thanks for posting- I will try to make it next time.

I'm gonna have to opt out of this one, man. The weather looks like it is not going to cooperate. Normally, I'd probably say screw it, I'll dry, but next week is the last week of school (finals) and I can't afford to not make it to work cause I spent all day cold and wet on my bike. I think this is a mature decision. Maturity sucks.

Please let me know when you plan the next ride. And if the weather starts clearing up, I'll be in touch.

Don't forget your mud tires and skills. An '08 drop is $300 without body guards.
