Pine Nut Mountains / Mount Patterson

starting near carson city we will ride singletrack / doubletrack through the pine nuts to wellington. gas up and head over and to the top of mount patterson. head home monitor pass. i estimate 150 miles dirt mostly sand and singletrack / 350 miles tarmac.

leaving sacramento at 5am this sunday 22 august. chevron gas station in eldorado hills, latrobe road, south side hwy 50.

Ridgerunner,
this is an awesome place to ride. I have ridden my dirtbikes out there. You can take those trails out of state in almost any direction. Trails go as far as you can see. Would love to go, but can't pul those dates off- maybe next time.
When I was scouting trails, I stopped in a the local shop to ask where it was legal. The looked at me like it was a dumb question and said " boy- if there aren't fences, you can ride there". I knew I had left California.
