Hwy 36!!!

The wife, and I took off over the holiday weekend to see Crater Lake, Mt. Shasta, and Lassen National Park. We did that in one day! Awsome! We got a room in Red Bluff CA. and then decided that we were going to take Hwy 36 back to the coast. (We were in my cage, and not on the bike) We roll up to Hwy 36, and the first sign is the squiggley arrow next 140 miles!

WOW! It took us more than five hours in the truck to go 140 miles. It has everything you want in a road. High speed twisties, the great quick bank turns, roller's, up, and downer's, altitude, and all that other stuff we like to ride.

So, I know that Usal rd is the next ride in October, but I would REALLY, REALLY like to this one for may-be a two, or three day ride.

Fortuna the first day. 36 the next day. Red Bluff that night. Then 36 back.

Mid to late October????

Chime in!

You know I'm down if I possibly can be, Veep. Be aware, Frankie has been doing mad abdominal exercises...for real...it's weird.

When I was about 20 a friend was moving and we took that road in my dads flat bed farm truck packed the gills and stuff tied down much like you'd expect from 20 year old stoners. He was green the whole way and useless when we arrived at his 2nd story apartment. Bad times. Sorry for the thread jack but that sign just brought back horrible memories. Might be fun on a bike though.

Cool. Fishing is the one excuse I accept without hesitation.
