Well, I'd like to hear too too but Minesweeper hasn't posted in over a year.......so unfortunately, I don't think we'll hear the end of the story

I just got the email notification for this. In August 2018 I blew out my back badly, and being that I got through the VA for my healthcare had to fight for my surgery. I didn't get in for surgery until January of this year and have had a difficult time getting back on my feet while going to engineering school. I still have all my gear and the bike is ready to go but I first need to get myself in order and my education back on track before I go skipping a semester to do something crazy. The other problem is that I've had to go through all of this while my only form of transportation has been my KLR650 so it's been fun dealing with back surgery on a motorcycle when you don't know anyone near by. I'll post here once I have updated information on the trip.

Sorry to hear of your back issues Minesweeper. Here is to hoping that physical therapy & time gets your back back up to 99% healthy again.
