Norfolk, VA Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel

Heading West on I-64 about 6 miles from the HRBT I saw a KLR heading East. 20 minutes later another 1 heading East. Haven't seen but 1 since I bought mine in Apr 2010.

You weren't looking very hard back in September. That's when I rode mine down there and then north over the CBBT.

KLR 650's have made their presence in the greater Tidewater area. There was / is a Command Duty Officer at Fort Monroe in Hampton, Virginia that will probably never forget a certain morning and a KLR 650. It'll be a while before I forget.

That photo image involved handcuffs, first hand experiences with the hard plastic seat of a Federal alphabet soup agency car, and gaining the undivided attention of Homeland Security.

Were you on Federal property when you took the pic??

In retrospect, maybe you should have just taken the pic and left rather than pull out the laptop.

Nothing on that post that you can't see on the internet. Hell, do they have ANYTHING there?? Ft. Story seems to have more action

Seems it's a bit of an embarrassment when the Department of Defense, in charge of critical infrastructure protection programs, which devises protection of military installations, and directed by Homeland Security, gets tagged by a motorcyclist in a salmon colored Aerostich on a KLR 650. In full view of the guard shack. I was outside of the gate, but the road from terra firma out to Fort Monroe is Federal jurisdiction.

Fort Monroe is the home of the Army's Training and Doctrine Command [TRADOC], led not by Army Staff, but directed by Homeland Security. A component of NORTHCOM [US Northern Command], Fort Monroe is headquarters for Joint Task Force - Civil Support [JTF-CS]. Any further information may result in the cavity searches alluded to the last time I trespassed on that place.
