Yellowstone N.P. - August 7, 2014

For the last three days the wife and I have driven all over Yellowstone, and it wasn't until yesterday that I saw the first KLR. It was a yellow and black Gen II, heading toward the Norris Geyser Area from Canyon Junction, around 10:00 am.

I've seen A LOT of Harley riders - most of them wearing rain gear or getting soaked on the rain that's been in the area, but only one KLR. Hell, you can't wave a stick without almost hitting the shiny chrome of a "Pirate Cycle" here this week.

I wish it was me that you saw but unfortunately I am still stuck in town. I have only been able to ride through Yellowstone once and we only had part of a day so we did not get to see as much as I would have liked. I was on a Goldwing at the time.

Have a great rest of your trip. At least you have a unique bike for the area.

Actually, Khaos is at home. The wife and I towed the 5th wheel to West Yellowstone, so the bike stayed home.
