My 6 month old KLR650 with 1200 miles on it is leaving a drop or two of oil on the ground following each ride. I’ve been wiping & watching. It’s leaking from the split in the cases. I was hoping it was the drain plug, or countershaft seal, but nope.
I don’t recall my Gen-1 leaking, ever.
My 2018 Ram doesn’t leak
My 2018 KTM doesn’t leak
My 2001 Ram doesn’t leak
I’m not a fan of the leaking KLR.
It’s under warranty. It’ll need the cases split and resealed.
What are the odds the dealer can reseal the cases without causing another problem?
My faith in dealers is low. I worked at a couple. They treat used bikes like garbage.
