Turn signals are like participles. The best way to reattach one is not to have it dangling in the first damn place.

I agree but by using epoxy, the turn signal won't dangle. Participle? We don't need no stinkin participles. Uhh, what's a participle anyway? TC

I was attempting the difficult combo of humor plus answering the OP's question all while dangling. I suspect the issue was addressed years ago. TBD is whether I managed the combo. Tom? TC

Darn. I thought I had answered the question and dangled my participle with "by using epoxy, the turn signal won't dangle." I can't even remember the last time I used participle in a sentence! More study is required. TC
