I have until 2/7/23 to decide if I want to purchase the extended warranty on my 2022 lkR 650. I bought it new a year ago, and have 11,000 miles on it already. Many upgrades, including the doohicky. My roomate is a mechanic, and walks me through maintenance. Should I even bother considering the expensive warranty?

I never buy an extended warranty for anything. Most are third party warranties and if you need to make a claim they make you jump through hoops. The dealer sells them because he gets a cut but when it’s time for a claim they aren’t responsible or helpful.
