How to tell if KLR has been lowered?

Hi all, I just bought my first KLR, a 2014 "new edition".

I'm a taller rider (6'4"). The original owner must have been shorter because it has the Corbin seat. I'm curious if he also added any lowering kits or other changes that I can walk back to stock height. I'm just not sure what to look for or how to tell. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I dialed the shock preload back to 1 to get my feet closer to the ground when I got my bike . I am going to move up to position2 because of my weight and improved handling skill . Don't know if you considered the height change of this adjustment but it made a noticeable difference for me . I also have the corbin seat . I,m 5'9" . I n your case , position 5 might be in order .

the shorter dog bones which raises the ride height is a powerful mod for the price, when I run them I get a lot less rocks kicking up onto my skid plate, and im pretty sure it decreases the leverage with has the effect of a heavier spring, if you weigh a lot or carry a lot of weight , like I do, this is very helpful, especially if your tall enough that the added height doesn't bother you, fyi I climb on mine like a horse! the only other way to achieve this is with an adjustable length shock.
