I have the Commuter standard. It was worth the money. Very comfortable.

 

yah, this one is the low and am wondering if it will be a lot harder foam because they take an inch of foam out and dont want you sitting on the seat pan?

 

If it's one inch less deep than the seat I have I'd say it's probably perfect. My standard commuter has PLENTY of foam thickness so I don't think one inch will matter. I kind of wish I'd ordered the low model.

My bike had the Sargent low seat when I bought it. I found the seat unacceptable, but seats are very personal fitment items. My thoughts were it was just okay at first, not great after 30 minutes and dropped into the deepest pit of hell by my third day of a trip. I happened to get another seat in the 'extra' parts box, it's not stock but it's better (than the low). I didn't need the low option anyhow. The previous owner loved it though.

 

foo, I can vouch for the standard Commuter seat. I find it much more comfortable than the stock seat and it’s good enough for the occasional two track I venture down. If you are handy the kit saves you a huny.
