I have a 2005 klr 650 with 1100 miles on it I did the valve adjustment this summer and all seemed to go well including the test ride after.I then let the bike sit for about a month and when I started it I could not give it any gas without stalling even after a few minutes of idleing on choke as soon as I give it the slightest amount of throttle it dies out ,and it will restart only on choke.I have checked the airbox and filter for obstructions, checked the petcock in both on and reserve positions, all hose routings seem fine no kinks or pinched hoses, also changed the spark plug which looked fine(not fouled). The only thing left I could think of is removing the carb but it has never been off or modified and the gas was new after the valve adjustment no water or contamination I have seen. Before I took it apaqrt for nothing I thought I would see if anyone has run into this I must be overlooking something obvious anyone have any ideas ?????
